There is also a different version below, you may still get this package
to see how the c code was interfaced with this gui. Extending or Embedding
Python may better suit your needs; However those topics are not covered here
and may be easily found on the internet. This was one of our proof-of-concept projects working with the
python scripting language. The GUI was written with PythonCard (pythoncard.sourceforge.net)
and a separate program for the processing input and the algorithms in C.
It was written as a test project for eductaional purposes that may help a new programmers
get there feet wet with python. There were versions in the works where the ( Luhn's alogorithm )
will be removed/separated and the user will be given a choice of algorithms to use ex. MD5, Blowfish, Triple DES, etc...
(Note: You will need the The Python Imaging Library (specifically for your version of python a.k.a P.I.L) and (PythonCard) to make this package work.

The official Peach Validator v0.02 - discontinued
This is the later version of the validator, this version was coded with pure python and Tkinter('defacto gui toolkit for python')
to code the gui. We really enjoyed redesigning the gui, because it helped us learn about some libraries in python that we
would rarely play with. Tkinter (the defacto gui toolkit for python is a great library for graphics,
yet PyGame seems to be the more portable and widely accepted). I have simplified it somewhat -
removed a few buttons - and added some error messages to let the user know whats happening.

The Computer System Cleaner v0.02 - proof of concept
This is a program that was written for Cyberdyme Network Mangement to help some of the
customers with virii and spyware. Its fairly easy to use and should prove useful to
anyone who uses windows.
* may require intermediate computer skills to
understand its full potential.
The STANDALONE version works on Windows Xp with service pack 1 installed, if you dont
know what sp1 is this is probally the version for you.

There are no versions for the rest of the windows family in the works, you will need
to get the 'Open Version'. The radio station choices can be changed by saving a
copy of your favorite winamp playlist (radio works with winamp, and may work with xmms) to
the main program directory and renaming it accordingly (ex. yourplaylist.pls => trance.pls).
This program is one of many free projects to come, its functional and stable. Its an example of a
program wrapper. The other software include :
# A german engineered anti-virus scanner (DR.Web Cureit) - runs a system scan
at the users request and does not remain on all the time like other AVs, for
the resource wary user.
# A windows temp file cleaner (ATF Cleaner) - This program does exactly what
is says and is very easy to use, also works with FireFox and Opera web browsers.
# A Browser hijack remover (HiJackThis **pre trendmicro version ) - This program
reports on and removes registry entries.
# An intelligent process remover (KillBox) -Its can usually rip offending and
!non-offending! processes right out of running memory.
I found that while cleaning out my system I would get bored so, I added a radio
station selection tool for use with winamp. I have not written any of
the 'cleaning' applications, but I will begin working on one very soon if
the demand arrives. Until then Happy coding!
This program is written in pure python. I used Gimp to manipulate images I
found on the web. All the resources (Py2exe, Inno Installer) to compile
this type of application are free or opensource! Design, Coding, Compilation,
Packaging, and Distrubution could possibly take a few hours varying on
the complexity of your program. The version system I use is simple
(versions system => 0.01,0.02).
